- alicia: "the dude"

- part I: Uncounscious Moods
- part II: Coffee with Mellow

The doorbell rang straight 7:00 am.
- I am coming! - He heard she shouting smoothly from far distance.
While there, waiting outside, he observed the silence of the yard: the sole movement of the flowers, the aesthetic view of the garage, the dirt on the doormat... – it looks like he was seeking signs that indicates Alicia's drastic change ---
- Hey, dude! You must be Gus, right?
It was a guy, in bare chest, bare foot, bare humor. With a lousy voice.
Before answering anything to this remarkable bare figure, Gus sighed with his eyes closed.
- Yes, undoubtedly, I am Gus - said in monotone.
- Cool! Come inside, man. Alicia will be downstairs in a minute. She is freshening out - said the bare man, while pouring himself on the couch.
- Thanks.
Hey! You do not need to be there standing so serious, OK? I am aware that you also know this place... perhaps, even better than myself... so get yourself a seat... relax, dude!
Gus sighed once more with his eyes closed.
- No, I am fine the way I am, man. Thanks.
Trying to avoid the moment of pure constraint, with idle conversation, Gus deflected and target his eyes to the floor.
There, poured on the couch, the "dude" observed him, perhaps wondering something to come up with on a phrase for a random conversation. Meanwhile, the "dude" rubbed his head, picked his nose and smelled his feet and then nodded his head looking at Gus.
"At least,  he did not scratch his balls in front of me", Gus thought to himself.
Then, suddenly, spoiling the cozy climate of the room, they heard a hemming and a gritting noise coming from above their heads. There she was, finally, stepping down the stairs.
"Thank you, God!".
Hi, Gus! So you are here on time, hun?! As always! That is great!
In her hands:  he identified a box with his t-shirts and a pile with some books.
- Well... I think that this is everything right? There you are, your whole belongings.
Gus did not even check anything inside the box. He just got it in his hands and thanked her in monotone.
Hey! Now it all make sense! - yelled the "dude" looking at Gus' box - So you are the guy that owns the Sonic Youth t-shirt! Awesome taste in music, dude!
- Thanks.
- Can you believe Carlos also like these strange bands you like too?! He even tried your t-shirt on a couple of times - she added laughing with her best mood - he really enjoyed your t-shirt!
- He what?!
- Yeah, he tried it on - she repeated her with that naive smile in her face.
"Is she provoking me... or something?"
- Hey "dude" Carlos... just keep this t-shirt to you, OK?
Then, Gus left slamming the door behind him.
Once he was out, passing the yard, he could hear "dude" Carlos yelling his lungs out loud:
- So cool! I fuck his ex-girlfriend and he even gives me a t-shirt for that. Dumbass!
Gus stopped and, again, he sighed with his eyes closed and, when he opened them - like coming back to reality - he threw the box up. The books spread all over and he walked by everything that was on the floor, as he did not give a damn.
But, in the end, we all know he did, I mean, from inside out. People crossed by too, looking at that exquisite figure, just neglecting his stuff that was once thrown away on the street...
After some seconds of aggressive steps, he froze himself for a second... Like when you realize something important: he looked down and crouched: A trifled paper of a notebook with a delicate tone of rose: Poetry to Alicia.
He nodded, hanging the notebook paper in his hand. After thinking for a while, he got himself on his knees, with the book in his hands. Behind him, people start collecting to themselves the belongings he had just left behind.
Then, Gus did all the way down to his home. But even though, you could haer that phrase echoing around:
"Has she ever read it even once?"
